Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship at Fort Sill, OK, is dedicated to nurturing future leaders in sustainable food practices through comprehensive training and hands-on experiences. This fellowship empowers participants to advocate for a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just, focusing on organic food system education. Over a six-month residency at the Allegheny Farm Campus, fellows engage in diverse activities such as growing and distributing crops, implementing innovative health care educational sessions, and maintaining community gardens. They play a key role in teaching food and ecological literacy, supporting farmers markets, and developing distribution channels to enhance access to healthy foods. Following their hands-on training, fellows enter a Community Action Year, partnering with local non-profits to apply their skills and knowledge. With no tuition fees, the fellowship promotes inclusivity and accessibility, encouraging more individuals to contribute to a meaningful food system change.
