The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Clinton, OK, is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to become passionate advocates for a just and sustainable food system. By offering a tuition-free program, we ensure that everyone can access the essential education needed to drive change in our communities. Our Fellows engage in hands-on learning during a six-month immersive experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, where they delve into organic food systems and participate in a variety of impactful projects. These include growing and distributing diversified crops, running educational sessions on health care innovation, maintaining school and community gardens, and promoting food and ecological literacy within educational settings. Additionally, our Fellows support local farmers markets, develop distribution channels for healthy foods, participate in community food coalition activities, and offer mentorship to future cohorts. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship experience typically taking place from May to October, fostering a new generation of leaders dedicated to enhancing food equity and access.
