Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Chickasha, OK is dedicated to cultivating a fair, sustainable, and empowering food system through education and community engagement. We sponsor and train aspiring advocates who are passionate about social, environmental, and economic justice in agriculture. Our Fellowship is centered around a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm, followed by a Community Action Year where participants actively apply their knowledge with local non-profits. Throughout the program, Fellows engage in a variety of initiatives, including growing and distributing diverse crops, implementing health-focused educational sessions, maintaining community gardens, and promoting food literacy in schools. We are committed to making our program accessible, ensuring that tuition is not a barrier to participation. We invite those interested in fostering food sovereignty and equity to apply by March each year.
