The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Chandler, OK, is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of leaders in sustainable food systems. Our program offers a transformative six-month residency, where selected Fellows gain hands-on experience in organic farming, food education, and advocacy for socially, environmentally, and economically just food practices. Without charging tuition, we strive to make this fellowship accessible to all passionate individuals. Throughout their journey, Fellows engage in diverse activities such as growing and distributing crops, running educational sessions on innovative healthcare, maintaining community gardens, and enhancing food literacy in schools. They also play a vital role in supporting local farmers markets and promoting direct access to healthy foods. Following their time at our farm, Fellows enter a Community Action Year, where they collaborate with regional non-profits to apply their knowledge and make a meaningful impact in their communities. Applications are open until March, with the fellowship typically running from May to October.
