The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Broken Bow, OK, is dedicated to empowering individuals through hands-on education in sustainable and equitable food systems. Our program champions social, environmental, and economic justice, offering Fellows a unique opportunity to engage in organic food system education without any tuition fees, thereby promoting accessibility. Participants spend six months immersed in experiential learning at our farm campus, learning to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement innovative health care educational sessions, and integrate food and ecological literacy into community projects. Fellows also support local farmers markets and direct-to-consumer initiatives, fostering increased access to healthy foods while mentoring the next generation of leaders. With a focus on collaboration, the fellowship includes a Community Action Year where Fellows apply their knowledge alongside regional non-profit organizations. Applications are open until March of each year, with the program running from May to October.
