Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Blanchard, OK is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for an equitable food system. Through hands-on training and experiential learning at the Allegheny Farm, selected Fellows receive comprehensive education in organic food systems at no cost, ensuring accessibility for all participants. Our program empowers individuals to foster socially, environmentally, and economically just practices, while actively engaging in community initiatives that grow and distribute diverse crops, implement innovative health care education, and support local food systems. Fellows also collaborate on projects like maintaining school gardens and mentoring future cohorts, ensuring that they play a vital role in enhancing food literacy and accessibility. Our transformative Fellowship experience spans six months, followed by a Community Action Year where Fellows can apply their knowledge in partnership with regional non-profits. Applications are open until March each year, with the Fellowship running from May to October.
