The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Anadarko, OK, is dedicated to equipping passionate individuals with the skills to champion a food system that prioritizes social justice, environmental sustainability, and economic equity. Through our comprehensive program, we provide organic food system education and practical training, enabling Fellows to grow and distribute diverse crops, develop community gardens, and conduct innovative health care education sessions. Our initiative fosters collaboration with local partners, empowering Fellows to create accessible pathways for healthy food through farmers markets and direct-to-consumer programs. Over a six-month immersive experience at AMI’s Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year, participants gain hands-on experience that enhances their capacity as advocates for food justice. We believe in promoting accessibility; therefore, our Fellowship does not require tuition, making this vital training available to all interested applicants. Join us in transforming local food systems and building a healthier community together.
