The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Alva, OK, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of advocates and educators who promote a food system that is equitable, sustainable, and resilient. By sponsoring and training selected Fellows, we prioritize accessibility to our program by not charging tuition, ensuring that individuals from diverse backgrounds can participate. Over the course of six transformative months at our campus, Fellows receive hands-on organic food system education that empowers them to grow and distribute diverse crops, develop community gardens, and create innovative educational programs around food and ecological literacy. Following their experiential training, Fellows engage in a Community Action Year, collaborating with local nonprofits to implement projects that enhance food access and strengthen community ties. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March for a unique opportunity to impact food justice, demonstrate the benefits of fresh produce through farmers markets, and mentor future leaders in sustainable agriculture.
