Yael Farkas is a licensed professional counselor, holding both an MA and an MEd. She is deeply dedicated to empowering her clients to lead lives filled with meaning and purpose. Utilizing trauma-informed, client-centered, and integrative therapeutic models, Yael focuses particularly on somatic and body-based interventions alongside essential coping skills. Her clinical expertise primarily revolves around supporting survivors of domestic abuse and assisting adults and teens with various mental health conditions and developmental disabilities. In conjunction with her counseling practice, Yael possesses an MA in Elementary Education and has spent over 12 years as a classroom teacher, engaging with children ranging from ages 6 to 18.
