Derek Lee is a dedicated counselor, specializing in working with children and teens facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, and self-harming behaviors. He began his counseling career as a crisis counselor, where he developed a profound expertise in supporting suicidal clients. His extensive experience has enabled him to focus on crucial issues related to self-harm, suicide, adjustment, and substance abuse. As a Certified DBT therapist and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Derek employs his primary therapeutic method of Dialectical Behavior Therapy to help clients navigate these obstacles successfully. In addition to his role as a therapist, he serves as a clinical director overseeing a team of 12 skilled counselors, each bringing decades of diverse experience from settings such as hospitals, schools, and inpatient treatment centers. Together, they are committed to providing top-notch services and compassionate support to every client.
