Brook Holub, a licensed professional counselor (LPC), understands that many individuals face the challenge of being invalidated by those closest to them. This experience can lead to doubts about one's feelings, thoughts, values, and beliefs. Brook is committed to guiding her clients through the process of learning how to identify and self-validate these aspects, recognizing that it takes time and support. Through fostering a therapeutic relationship built on unconditional acceptance and genuine support, she creates an environment conducive to healing. Passionate about working with young women dealing with adjustment and relationship issues, as well as those affected by Borderline Personality Disorder, Brook employs a person-centered approach that emphasizes skill development and meeting clients where they are. Acknowledging the challenges of overcoming past struggles, she empowers individuals to persevere, define themselves, and advocate for their own self-care while connecting to the present moment to achieve balance. Inspired by her own experiences with economic hardship and emotional challenges within her family, Brook has dedicated her career to supporting others through their mental health journeys. Her clinical experience at Ohio Guidestone and Autism Learning Partners has further honed her ability to help clients not only to aspire to be better, but also to take actionable steps toward doing better.
