Maddy Campbell is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor who welcomes individuals seeking to explore the question, 'What makes you...you?' Maddy fosters a counseling relationship built on honesty, encouragement, nonjudgment, and collaboration. She believes in the innate capability of her clients to navigate challenges related to depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, and beyond. Specializing in work with transracial adult adoptees and marginalized individuals, Maddy integrates trauma and identity-focused therapy into her practice. As a psychodynamic therapist, she understands the significance of childhood experiences and how unresolved conflicts can influence present and future selves. Although her primary lens is psychodynamic, Maddy skillfully incorporates various techniques, including attachment and trauma work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to meet individual needs. Her multicultural, feminist, and social justice perspectives further enrich her therapeutic practice, acknowledging the systemic factors affecting mental health.
