Michele Hickey

Michele Hickey is a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor, deeply committed to guiding her clients through life transitions such as moving, changing careers, or becoming parents. She understands that these moments can be challenging, often leaving individuals feeling lost amidst a sea of advice from well-meaning sources. Michele believes that while direct advice can sometimes help, many quick fixes miss the complexities of each unique situation. Her approach centers on collaboration, empowering clients to explore their needs and enhance their relationships. With many years of experience working with families—from prenatal through Pre-K—Michele fosters a supportive and non-judgmental environment. Her therapeutic modalities include Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Play Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), among others, allowing her to address specific needs while celebrating the strengths and successes of those she works with. Michele’s goal is to create a safe space for families and individuals to navigate their challenges, standing beside them every step of the way.
