Her background includes significant time spent in psychiatric hospital settings, where she effectively addressed the needs of adults in crisis and those seeking outpatient services. Marissa has also led therapeutic programming in high schools focused on self-esteem and depression, and she is skilled in facilitating healthier relationships for couples. With specialized training in CBT, DBT, and TF-CBT, Marissa handles a diverse range of issues including marital and couples counseling, life coaching, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD, phobias, adjustment disorders, PTSD, and trauma recovery.
