MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Yonkers, NY, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity each year, providing essential referrals to appropriate weight management solutions and a variety of treatment options that align with individual needs and preferences. Our comprehensive offerings include supportive group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, in-home support through TeleMOVE!, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer self-directed weight management. For Veterans facing persistent weight-related challenges, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
