Dr. Juan-david Rivera-del Valle

Dr. Juan-david Rivera-del Valle is a compassionate and experienced bilingual Latinx clinician with extensive training and clinical experience as a psychotherapist and social worker. As a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Doctorate in Social Work (DSW), he specializes in guiding adults through the complexities of life, particularly those exploring their LGBTQ+ identities, racial identity, and the experiences of transgender individuals. Recognizing that individuals today are reevaluating their lives, Dr. Rivera-del Valle understands the vital importance of investing time and resources in therapy. His approach integrates culturally sensitive practices, intersectionality, psychodynamic and liberation theories, as well as a variety of well-established treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and the Gottman Method.
