MOVE! Weight Management Program

Located in Webster, NY, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity annually, with tailored referrals to weight management options that cater to individual preferences. We offer a variety of services including supportive group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and innovative in-home telemedicine through TeleMOVE! For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app provides valuable tools for weight management. Additionally, we offer medical interventions such as weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight-related issues.
