Mobile Outreach Resource Services (MORE) is dedicated to alleviating hunger and supporting the health of our community in Wantagh, NY, by providing emergency food assistance and essential resources right where they are needed. Operating in accessible locations such as libraries, parks, and shopping centers, MORE ensures that individuals and families can easily find food assistance when their local food pantries are closed. Our services include home delivery of nonperishable food, personal care items, household supplies, and pet food to vulnerable populations, including senior citizens, disabled veterans, and individuals with medical conditions that hinder their mobility. This biweekly delivery service is tailored to the specific needs of each recipient, who is assessed for eligibility and potential needs for ongoing social services.
