In Springfield Gardens, NY, Free Meals, part of the New York City Department of Education, is dedicated to providing free, nutritious meals to support the well-being of all New Yorkers. With over 400 Meal Hubs throughout the city, individuals can access three delicious and free meals daily, tailored to meet diverse dietary needs, including vegetarian, halal, and kosher options. Meal Hubs operate for children and families from 7:30 am to 11:30 am and for adults from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, ensuring that no one goes hungry. Importantly, there are no registration requirements or identification needed, so everyone is welcome to pick up meals, including parents collecting for their children. While onsite dining is not available, we encourage you to grab these meals and enjoy them wherever you feel comfortable.
