At New York WIC, located in Schenectady, we are dedicated to fostering healthy food practices among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years of age. Our comprehensive Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food Program provides essential nutrition education, supplemental food assistance, breastfeeding support, and vital referrals for healthcare services. Recognizing the challenges posed by COVID-19, our office ensures that families can still access services by phone, while on-site appointments are currently limited. Rest assured, all eWIC cards remain valid, and we encourage families to utilize their benefits until the 'Benefits Valid Through' date.
