Free Meals

In Queens Village, NY, Free Meals, an initiative by the New York City Department of Education, aims to ensure that every New Yorker has access to nutritious food with the provision of three free meals a day. Operating at over 400 Meal Hubs throughout the city, this program welcomes all individuals, allowing families and adults to pick up three meals at one time without the need for registration or identification. Meal Hub hours are tailored to meet the needs of our community: from 7:30 am to 11:30 am for children and families, and 11:30 am to 1:30 pm for adults. With a variety of options, including vegetarian, halal, and kosher meals available at select locations, we strive to accommodate diverse dietary needs. While there is no indoor dining, meals are easily accessible to be enjoyed off premises, and parents and guardians can pick up meals for their children. Our mission is to ensure that no one goes hungry, and we are here to support you with essential food assistance.
