Dutchess County Early Childhood Programs - Early Head Start, operated by Astor Services for Children & Families in Poughkeepsie, NY, is dedicated to nurturing the development of young children and supporting their families in the Mid-Hudson Valley. Our program, part of the federally funded Head Start initiative, serves children aged 0 to 3 from low-income households with a focus on providing comprehensive early childhood education and essential support services. We offer both home-based and center-based models to cater to diverse family needs. Through weekly visits from Parent Infant Educators, we empower parents with tools and resources in child development, nutrition, and health.
