Free Meals

Free Meals is a vital initiative by the New York City Department of Education, dedicated to providing accessible food assistance to all New Yorkers. Across Middle Village and more than 400 Meal Hubs citywide, we offer three nourishing meals daily to anyone in need, ensuring that no one goes hungry. Our Grab-and-Go meals are available for children and families from 7:30 am to 11:30 am, and for adults from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. With no registration or ID required, every resident can easily pick up meals, including vegetarian options at all sites and halal and kosher choices available at select locations. We invite parents and guardians to collect meals for their children, creating a supportive community where everyone can obtain the food they need.
