Deanna Richards

Deanna Richards, a dedicated counselor and licensed mental health counselor (LMHC), believes that clients are taking an important step towards shaping their lives. In her safe and confidential environment, individuals can take an active role in deepening their self-awareness and understanding. Through meaningful therapeutic interactions, clients can re-envision their purpose in life. Deanna offers therapy that is focused on each individual, infused with creativity, humor, and non-judgment. By working collaboratively, clients may achieve new insights, learn valuable skills, and attain a deeper sense of wellness. She works with both adults and adolescents on a variety of issues, including anxiety, mood dysregulation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, culture, and relationships. Her practice is LGBTQIA affirming and knowledgeable about polyamory and open relationships, while also being multi-culturally, racially, and ethnically informed. Everyone faces difficult issues and choices throughout their lifetime, and Deanna aims to help clients move closer towards a sense of wellness, balance, and greater self-efficacy. She hopes that the therapeutic alliance will assist clients in navigating present and future life changes.
