David Becerra, PsyD, is a dedicated psychologist with over 10 years of experience in providing psychotherapy services. Throughout his career, he has worked in residential and outpatient clinics as well as nursing homes, particularly during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. This experience has reinforced David's understanding of the pressing mental health crisis many individuals face today. In response to this urgent need, he established a telehealth private practice aimed at offering easy, accessible psychotherapy services to those in need across New York. David specializes in trauma and PTSD, anxiety disorders, and has additional training to support individuals with developmental disabilities. His therapeutic approach is integrative and eclectic, integrating mindfulness-based strategies and family systems therapy, among others. David believes in the power of therapy, recognizing the immense effort required to seek help during tough times.
