Preventive Services

Located in Lockport, NY, Preventive Services by OLV Human Services is dedicated to supporting families in need, specifically those referred by the Erie County Department of Social Services. Our mission is to help families navigate challenges such as parenting difficulties, education issues, substance abuse, and violence, ensuring their safety and maintaining the unity of the family. We provide essential services, including case management, parenting and nutrition education, budgeting, homemaking skills, and medical care management, while also connecting families to vital community resources. Eligible families receive support regardless of their income, and our holistic approach addresses both individual and family dynamics through counseling, advocacy, and skill-building workshops. Together, we strive to empower families to overcome obstacles and thrive in their everyday lives.
