MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Lancaster, NY, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to screen all Veterans receiving care at VA facilities for obesity annually and to connect them with tailored weight management services that align with their individual needs and preferences. Our offerings include engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and innovative TeleMOVE! options, which allow Veterans to receive support from home. For those who prefer self-guided approaches, we provide the MOVE! Coach mobile app as a helpful resource. We also understand that some Veterans may require additional interventions, which is why we offer access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who continue to struggle with their weight despite utilizing MOVE! services.
