Harvest to Haven

Harvest to Haven is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to families in Jamaica, NY, especially those grappling with food insecurity exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. By acquiring surplus crops directly from local farmers, we ensure that vulnerable communities receive the nutritious support they need. Our program operates weekly food distributions at East Side House Settlement community centers, where families can access food packages on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage visitors to bring their own bags or carts and to prioritize health by wearing masks. At Harvest to Haven, we are committed to making a difference in the lives of those facing hunger, striving to nourish our community with compassion and care.
