Free Meals

Free Meals in Fresh Meadows, NY, is a vital initiative of the New York City Department of Education, dedicated to ensuring that every New Yorker has access to nutritious food. With over 400 Meal Hubs citywide, our program serves three free meals daily, welcoming all community members without the need for registration or ID. Meals can be picked up at convenient times—around 7:30 am to 11:30 am for families and 11:30 am to 1:30 pm for adults—making it easy for anyone to receive essential food assistance. We offer a variety of options, including vegetarian meals, as well as halal and kosher choices available at select sites. While dining space is not provided, we encourage families, parents, and guardians to gather meals to enjoy at home or off-site.
