Free Meals is a vital initiative in Flushing, NY, dedicated to ensuring that every New Yorker has access to nutritious food. Operated by the New York City Department of Education, we offer three free meals daily at over 400 Meal Hubs throughout the city, welcoming anyone in need without the barrier of registration or identification. Our Meal Hubs serve grab-and-go meals, accessible to children, families, and adults at specific times: 7:30 am to 11:30 am for children and families, and 11:30 am to 1:30 pm for adults. We are proud to provide a variety of meal options, including vegetarian, halal, and kosher selections at select locations. Community members can easily pick up three meals at once, ensuring no one goes hungry. While dining on-site is not available, parents and guardians are encouraged to pick up meals for their children, and no one will ever be turned away. We are committed to supporting the health and well-being of our community, and we invite everyone to take advantage of this essential food assistance program.
