MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, based in Farmingdale, NY, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity, allowing us to provide tailored weight management services that align with their unique needs and preferences. We offer a variety of weight management options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program that facilitates in-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer self-directed support, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, alongside specialized weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who require additional assistance after participating in MOVE!.
