At Veterans' Services in Farmingdale, NY, we are dedicated to supporting the brave men and women who have served our country, recognizing the unique challenges they face during their transition from military to civilian life. Our Military Appreciation Tuesdays provide veterans and their families with essential food assistance and personal care items at our pantries, ensuring they have access to not only nutritious groceries but also household products, pet food, and school supplies when available. Additionally, our Mobile Pantry service reaches homebound and disabled veterans, delivering healthy food directly to their homes. Through our VetsWork program, we empower veterans to gain vital job skills, assisting them in crafting effective cover letters and résumés while offering job search support and real workplace experiences through volunteering and training. We are committed to fostering a strong community for our veterans, offering resources and support that can make a significant impact as they navigate their new journeys.
