St Casimir's Church

St. Casimir's Church, established in 1928, has long served as a spiritual hub for Endicott's Polish-speaking community. This Roman Catholic parish was dedicated to fostering a sense of belonging and faith, offering religious services and community support. In June 2013, the church announced its closure, as Reverend Matthew Wieczorek delivered his final mass after over five decades of service. With no succession plan in place, St. Casimir's is set to merge with St. Joseph's Catholic Church nearby. The church’s legacy underscores the importance of religious and cultural bonds within the community. As local churches adapt, residents are encouraged to engage with available resources and support services within the faith community, ensuring that the spirit of togetherness continues in Endicott.
