Veterans' Services in Elmont, NY is dedicated to supporting the brave men and women who have served our country, as well as their families, during their transition back to civilian life. We offer a range of services aimed at addressing their unique needs, including Military Appreciation Tuesdays, where veterans can access emergency food assistance, personal care items, and valuable resources related to veteran-specific benefits at our pantries. Our Mobile Pantry initiative ensures that homebound and disabled veterans receive nutritious groceries delivered directly to their doors. Additionally, our VetsWork program empowers veterans with job skills training, résumé writing support, and access to real workplace experiences through various volunteer opportunities. We are committed to uplifting our veterans and fostering a strong sense of community.
