MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans in Elmhurst, NY, through a comprehensive approach to weight management and health promotion. Our primary goal is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity while providing referrals to tailored weight management services that align with individual needs and preferences. Our program offers a variety of care options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and innovative TeleMOVE! services for in-home support. For those who prefer self-directed management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, along with essential resources for weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing persistent weight-related challenges.
