Alexa Wolkoff

Alexa Wolkoff is a compassionate and skilled Clinical Social Worker and Therapist dedicated to helping adults and elders navigate their emotional struggles. She recognizes that when traditional coping mechanisms fall short, individuals often seek therapy for comfort, relief, and more authentic connections in their relationships. Alexa believes in addressing the whole person during times of crisis, transition, and loss, aligning with the meaning of healing, which derives from the German 'hailjan' - 'to make whole.' Her therapeutic approach is holistic, acceptance-based, and contemplative, emphasizing self-compassion and self-acceptance to foster peaceful and intentional living. Specializing in late adolescence, women's life transitions—including infertility, pregnancy loss, and menopause—body image and disordered eating issues, high conflict divorce, trauma, and grief, Alexa provides a comprehensive understanding of life changes encompassing mind, body, and spirit. She is also the founder and teacher of an accessible yoga studio, a spiritual caregiver, and is trained in meditation and mindfulness practices. With a warm, attuned, and caring demeanor, she guides clients through life's challenges with acceptance and compassion, helping them find ease, purpose, and wholeness.
