Free Meals

Free Meals is dedicated to ensuring that all New Yorkers have access to nutritious and satisfying meals, offering three free meals daily at over 400 Meal Hubs throughout Brooklyn, NY. This initiative, facilitated by the New York City Department of Education, aims to alleviate food insecurity in our communities by making Grab-and-Go meals available without any barriers. Meal Hubs operate for children and families from 7:30 am to 11:30 am and serve adults from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to pick up three meals at once, with vegetarian options available at all sites, along with Halal and kosher choices at select locations. Importantly, no registration or ID is required, ensuring that no one is turned away. Parents and guardians may collect meals for their children, and while there is no dining space, these meals can be enjoyed off-site.
