MOVE! Weight Management Program

Located in Brentwood, NY, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to screen every Veteran at VA facilities for obesity and provide tailored support that fits individual needs and preferences. We offer a range of services including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home engagement. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for independent management or explore options like weight loss medications and bariatric surgery if needed. Each facility provides personalized services, and for those ready to embark on their weight loss journey, we encourage reaching out to a local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to discover how to get involved and start making positive health changes.
