Kim Finnie

Kim Finnie is a compassionate Clinical Social Worker and Therapist, dedicated to helping clients navigate the complexities of life through awareness and personal growth. She believes that much of human suffering stem from how individuals experience the events in their lives, rather than the occurrences themselves. Through therapy, Kim empowers her clients to shift their relationships with these experiences, leading to a greater sense of control and a positive influence over their life's trajectory. She encourages the belief that within each person lies the power to achieve health and happiness, transforming painful events into opportunities for self-discovery. Kim utilizes a range of therapeutic approaches including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, and Sand Play. She provides support to individuals, couples, and families, and also facilitates group sessions for both youth and adults, fostering community and connection through the therapeutic process.
