MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Union, NJ, is dedicated to transforming the lives of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to annually screen every Veteran cared for at VA facilities for obesity and provide tailored referrals to various weight management options that suit individual needs and preferences. We offer a comprehensive array of services, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which connects Veterans with care directly in their homes. For those who prefer self-guided support, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, ensuring that every Veteran has access to the resources necessary for successful weight loss. Additionally, we provide assistance with weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who require further options after participating in the MOVE! program.
