James Wulach

Dr. James Wulach is a distinguished clinical psychologist and attorney with a rich educational background that includes a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the City University of New York at City College, a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, and a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University. As a Professor of Psychology at John Jay College, he has made a significant impact in the development of the MA-JD Program in Psychology and Law. Dr. Wulach is recognized for his leadership as Past President of the New Jersey Psychological Association and has served as Chair of the Committee on Professional Practices and Standards of the American Psychological Association. His contributions to the field have been honored through prestigious accolades, including the APA's Award for Advocacy, the NJPA's Psychologist of the Year, Distinguished Teaching Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished author, he has published books such as 'Law & Mental Health Professionals: New Jersey (2nd Ed.)' and 'Law & Mental Health Professionals: New York,' both recognized by the American Psychological Association. In addition, Dr. Wulach has written 50 published articles in professional journals and delivered 60 psychological lectures and presentations to professional gatherings, showcasing his passion for education and advocacy in psychology and law.
