Dan Bender

Dan Bender, a Licensed Professional Counselor with credentials in MAEdS, LPC, and NCC, specializes in providing social skills training to children and teenagers experiencing challenges in forming and maintaining friendships, including those on the autistic spectrum. He works closely with each child and teenager on an individual basis to address behavioral issues and other concerns, often involving the whole family to enhance communication and dynamics. Dan also offers neurofeedback therapy targeted at children and adults with ADHD and related disorders. As part of Dr. Jed Baker's Social Skills Training Project, he facilitates social skills groups that empower participants to listen, ask questions, and engage in conversations that foster deeper connections. Dan is dedicated to making personal connections and guiding families toward functioning as cohesive units.
