Avi Shteingart

Avi Shteingart is a licensed social worker, certified addiction counselor, and a certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT). He dedicates his practice to helping individuals who find themselves grappling with various forms of addiction, including alcohol, drugs, gambling, internet, and sex. Avi understands that many individuals feel paralyzed by their struggles, impacting both their lives and relationships. Through his compassionate approach, he has significantly impacted the lives of countless clients, guiding them towards liberation from the grasp of addiction. He works with individuals who may feel stuck due to anxiety, depression, or challenges in adjusting to life's changes. Employing a range of therapeutic modalities, Avi primarily utilizes Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy and 12-step based work such as SA and AA. He also integrates Family and Trauma work, with a particular emphasis on mindfulness and spirituality in his practice. Avi possesses a unique sensitivity to the Frum community, keenly aware of the struggles experienced by young adults.
