Rory Panter

Dr. Rory Panter is a Licensed Psychologist in New Jersey at Behavior Therapy Associates (BTA) and has served as the Program Director of the North New Jersey Campus of the HI-STEP® Summer Program since 2008. He possesses a profound expertise in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders, as well as disruptive behavior disorders and anxiety disorders. Dr. Panter actively trains parents on effective behavior management strategies that foster improved child behavior. His comprehensive practice includes conducting social skills training groups, behavioral parent training groups, and providing both individual and family therapy. Furthermore, Dr. Panter collaborates with school districts to offer behavioral consultation, conducts Functional Behavior Assessments and creates Behavior Intervention Plans, along with delivering workshops for parents and professionals. He also specializes in Psychoeducational and Psychological Evaluations. Under Dr. Panter’s guidance, BTA provides clinical services, consultation, and training rooted in evidence-based approaches, all within the framework of sensitivity and compassion, recognizing the uniqueness of each individual and setting. The group practice, established in 1979, showcases the collaborative talents of licensed psychologists, certified school psychologists, and board-certified behavior analysts.
