Suzanne Daly

Suzanne Daly is a relationally oriented psychotherapist dedicated to providing treatment for individuals and families in New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey who are seeking relief from emotional suffering. Grounded in a contemporary psychodynamic orientation, she meticulously considers the influence of sociocultural experiences on psychological development. Suzanne views symptoms as pathways for growth, approached with curiosity, compassion, and respect. She is deeply committed to fostering an energetic and collaborative therapeutic relationship, which allows clients to gain insights into their motivations and needs, ultimately leading to a more authentic connection with themselves and others. With a specialization in addressing issues related to food, eating, and the body, her goal is to assist clients in understanding how the hunger for emotional nourishment can manifest in diverse ways. Clients will learn to explore concepts of hunger, appetite, desire, and limits, both physically and metaphorically, to reconnect with their core needs. Suzanne has completed post-graduate training at the Women’s Therapy Centre Institute in New York City and earned her doctoral degree in clinical social work from the University of Pennsylvania. She actively engages in sessions, bringing her full attention and emotional presence to each conversation.
