Located in Newton, NJ, the Northwest New Jersey Community Action Partnership - WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) program is dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. With a focus on providing essential food assistance, our program offers free nutritious foods, including milk, eggs, fruits, vegetables, and infant formula, ensuring that families receive the vital nutrients needed for healthy growth and development. We also provide comprehensive services such as health screenings, nutrition education, breastfeeding support from lactation consultants, and referrals to health and social services. WIC plays a crucial role in preventing anemia and low birth weight, contributing to a healthier future for our community's youngest members. Fathers are welcome to bring their children to apply for our services, reinforcing our commitment to inclusive family support.
