Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors

Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors is dedicated to empowering Latino parents in New Brunswick, NJ, by providing vital parenting skills and advocacy training for parents of children aged 0 to 5. As a national, evidence-based program, we equip parents to become their children's first educators and advocates, ensuring they have the tools to support their children's long-term development and academic success. Through a series of 10 engaging workshops, we cover essential topics such as nutrition, positive discipline, child development, and school readiness, all grounded in real-life experiences. Our workshops, available in both English and Spanish, can be attended virtually or in-person, allowing flexible participation. Parents who complete the program may take on the rewarding role of facilitators themselves. We proudly serve Latino families in Middlesex County and Franklin Township in Somerset County, offering these resources at no cost to help build a brighter future for their children.
