MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Montclair, NJ, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at our VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and connected with personalized weight management services tailored to individual needs and preferences. Participants can choose from a variety of care options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which offers in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer self-management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, and we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing challenges with obesity.
