Don Harris

Don Harris is a compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wilmington University. With expertise in addressing behavioral issues, anxiety, and anger management, Don understands that even strong men can face immense struggles, often suffering in silence due to a lack of emotional vocabulary. As an African American male and a former law enforcement official, Don brings a unique perspective that fosters a safe environment for men and male teens to gradually remove their emotional armor and share their truths. He employs a variety of therapy types, including culturally sensitive, trauma-focused, and person-centered approaches, to engage his clients in meaningful conversations that promote healing and the rebuilding of broken relationships. Don is dedicated to creating a therapeutic relationship filled with affirmation and empathy, complemented by the wisdom of traditional man talk passed down from his grandfather. Through his guidance, clients are empowered to navigate their struggles and cultivate healthier connections with themselves and others.
