Patrice Hegel

Patrice Hegel, MSW, LCSW, is a co-founder and partner at the Comprehensive Counseling Center in Howell, NJ, bringing over 30 years of experience in therapy. Her primary focus lies in marital and couples counseling, as well as adult individual therapy. Patrice is known for her empathetic and non-judgmental approach, coupled with the ability to provide direct guidance when necessary. She collaborates closely with her clients to tailor treatment to their unique needs, ensuring a respectful and safe environment where goals can be achieved. With a commitment to fostering positive well-being, Patrice assists couples in addressing relationship and communication challenges, and supports individuals in exploring self-esteem, coping strategies, and overcoming personal obstacles. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Montclair State and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. Her clinical internship at Princeton University included roles as a psychotherapist at the McCosh Center and interim counselor for the Sexual Harassment/Assault Advising, Resources and Education Program, as well as being a member of the Eating Disorder Recovery Team. Patrice continues to enhance her expertise with 40 biannual CEU credits, affirming her dedication to professional growth and the well-being of her clients.
